Om Center Divya Dham

150 sacred acres in Galion, Ohio — purchased, built, and cared for by the Bhutanese-Nepali Hindu community itself.

About Us

The Story

For decades, our community worshipped wherever it could — rented halls, borrowed temples, living rooms. On July 14, 2022, that changed: GBHO purchased 150 acres of land in Galion, Ohio. Ten days later, founding members from across the country stood on that land together for the first time. That September, the Divya Dham was inaugurated and the Mandir consecrated.

What has happened since is the work of hundreds of hands. Volunteers raised a program shed in a single summer. Pine trees were planted along the front line. In 2024, the largest donation in GBHO's history — given by the Subedi family — began the Rabin Memorial Hall, its foundation blessed in a Bhumi Pujan. In 2025, four hundred volunteers carried the eight-day Vishvashanti Gyan Mahayagya, our greatest gathering yet. And in 2026, the Gaushala welcomed its first cows.

More than 550 volunteers have given over 15,000 hours to this land. It is not just where we gather — it is proof of what our community can build together.
